Applications for Commission/Committee Appointments
For La Habra residents seeking appointment to a City Commission or Committee, the Commission/Committe Application is also available in PDF "fillable" format HERE. Please type your information, print the completed form, attach a resume with your application, and email to the City Clerk's Office at email@example.com.
Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Interviews are tentatively scheduled to occur Monday, March 7, March 21, and April 4, 2022, as needed. It is the policy of the City Council to make appointments on the basis of interest and qualification of individual applicants.
The City is currently accepting applications for the following Commission/Committee appointments:
La Habra Planning Commission - one seat with a 4-year term expiring March 31, 2026.
La Habra Community Services Commission - six seats, two with a 1-year term expiring March 31, 2023, two with a 2-year term expiring March 31, 2024, and two with a 3-year term expiring March 31, 2025.
La Habra Beautification Committee - two alternate seats to establish an eligibility list for any future vacancies that may occur within a 1-year period.
