U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) - Workshops and Events


The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is a federal economic development agency that provides programs to assist small businesses with loans. SBA sponsors other organizations to assist small businesses, such as the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC).  SBA conducts monthly events such as government contracting events and other federal and local government, trade, and small business organization events.  Please click below for the list of events.

The workshop will help you create an effective elevator pitch so you can quickly catch the attention of your audience, persuade them to pay attention, and convince them that they want to hear more. No matter what you are selling such as an idea for a new business, an existing product or service, or a project, this workshop is for you. SCORE Mentoring - One-On-One Meetings


Starting in May 2017, the City of La Habra will be hosting monthly SCORE Mentoring one-on-one meetings at City Hall, located at 110 E. La Habra Blvd. La Habra, CA 90631.  SCORE offers entrepreneurs (who are either launching a start-up or growing an existing business) mentoring at no charge.  The SCORE mentors meet with you personally, confidentially and as frequently as necessary to define and analyze your opportunities and assist you to find solutions.  Sessions are typically scheduled for one hour.  Please click here for the 2017 schedule and contact information.
