Gourmet Guys Raise "Bread" For Kids

Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Museum at 301 S. Euclid St. in La Habra or on Sunday, October 15th at the La Habra Community Center.

The Children's Museum at La Habra presents its’ annual Gourmet Guys Raise "Bread" for Kids fundraiser at the La Habra Community Center on Sunday, October 15th. This unique event features favorite dishes prepared by more than 100 nonprofessional "chefs". Past “chefs” have included corporate executives, city officials, educators, and community leaders.

While guests are invited to sample delicious culinary creations, each dish is also judged by a team of professional chefs. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded for the most outstanding preparation and presentations in 14 categories. Fantastic food, tempting wines, an opportunity prize drawing and a silent auction combine to make this a truly memorable afternoon for our 300 anticipated attendees. 

All of the proceeds from Gourmet Guys Raise "Bread" for Kids benefit The Children's Museum at La Habra and the children and families that we serve.

We have a limited number of spaces available in our Student Chef Division.  If you are a student currently enrolled in grades 9-12, you are eligible to participate in this year's event.  Please download the official student chef guidelines and application packet here.

Breakfast With Santa Annual Fundraiser

When:

 December 2 & 3, 2017
  • Saturday Seating Times: 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m.
  • Sunday Seating Times: 8:30 a.m., 9:45 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Cost:

 $10 Kids 2 and over, $12 Adults, CMLH Members receive a $2 discount off per ticket

A time honored classic for Christmas, this morning at the Museum includes a continental breakfast of yummy treats, a colorful craft for each child, a classic photo with Santa Claus and free admission into the Museum! Don’t miss your chance to spend some quality family time together and greet Santa before he starts his busy schedule.

Chipping In for Kids Golf Classic

 Hacienda Golf Club, La Habra Heights

The Chipping in for Kids Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, April 30, 2017 at the prestigious 18-hole championship Hacienda Golf Club in La Habra Heights. The Hacienda Golf Club provides players with one of the finest and most challenging golfing experiences available in Southern California. 

The tournament features a day of exciting competition that includes a helicopter golf ball drop, putting, long drive and closest to the pin contests, mulligans, raffles, a live and silent auction and an awards dinner.

Early bird registration fee by February 15th: $185 per player or $700 for a foursome

Registration after February 15th: $200 per player or $780 for a foursome
 
All golfers will receive a player’s swag bag, continental breakfast, beverages while on the course, lunch and dinner buffet. Download player registration card and golf ball drop information (PDF) or click here for online registration.

All proceeds from Chipping in for Kids benefit The Children’s Museum at La Habra, one of the most unique, educational and cultural resources for young children in Southern California.  The Museum serves 90,000 children and families annually from Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
