Sensory-Friendly Sundays

Sensory Sundays 2025

Sensory-friendly Sunday is our program for children with autism, sensory processing differences, and other special needs. Children and their companions can explore the museum without the crowds, noise, and bright lights of a typical museum day.

$7/person (two years and older). FREE admission for 1 licensed aide (with badge).

Join us for daily storytimes in our Nature Walk gallery! Ask staff for the schedule.

5 Play Day

$5 Sunday Play Day

Experience an afternoon of discovery and imagination for just $5 per person (2 years of age and older). Families can enjoy full access to all our interactive exhibits, from the prehistoric wonders of the Dino Dig Site to a ride on our vintage carousel. It is the perfect opportunity for little explorers to engage in hands-on fun and creative play at a special community rate.
